Tribute to Ian Anderson

For illustration three we had to do a black and white portrait of a musician. I chose Ian Anderson, the flute player and lead singer of the band Jethro Tull. I grew up hearing his fantastic, witty, beautiful rock music since my dad loved the band. My teacher described him as a traveling rock minstrel woodland fairy type person. It's an apt description. I decided to make him a cat since he's a cat lover and dressed him in somewhat mediaeval inspired clothes since that is what he wore. Also, I have him posed in his iconic Ian Anderson pose, with a foot placed on his knee.
