It's a good thing werewolves aren't as good at climbing trees... or is it?

I am super-pleased with that second panel! Walter has one good-looking back! :XD:

Next week's image will be a Christmas-themed one! Speaking of which... I should go finish the sketch of that...

well... I think (basing on its anatomy) that werewolfs wouldnt have any problem climbing trees, unless you decide that your werewolfs have a animal mind and lack of the imagination to use his claws as hooks to climb on. But if you decide that they conserve their human intelligence... well Walter is fuck

Well, I said not good at it, not incapable. Dog's can't climb trees, partially because of their bone structure and partially because their claws stink for it, mainly the first reason. Same goes for wolves. These werewolves have a mix of human and wolf anatomy, so while their front legs are more like human arms and have the right dexterity, their back legs aren't any good for it (can't twist the right ways). Also, they have the wrong kind of claws. So while they do retain close to human intelligence while shifted, climbing trees is difficult because of their body structure. Not impossible, just difficult. It's easier to go after different prey if there's some nearby once the prey you're chasing goes up a tree. Although, if there is no other prey around, the tree isn't going to save you.
Climbing the tree isn't a fool-proof plan, but it was good for buying Walter time to figure out a better one.
